 SPRING BREAKERS:

Spring Breakers is a 2012 American comedy and drama film written and directed by Harmony Korine. The film stars Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, Rachel Korine and James Franco. The film follows four college-aged girls on their spring break. The film was selected to compete for the Golden Lion at the 69th Venice International Film Festival.[9] It received positive reviews from movie critics and was a box office success grossing $31.7 million at the worldwide box office against a $5 million production budget. Childhood friends and college students Faith, Brit, Candy, and Cotty plan to go on a spring break vacation, but don't have enough money for the trip. To obtain the funds, Brit and Candy rob a fast food restaurant using hammers and realistic-looking squirt guns, with Cotty as the getaway driver. Faith, a Christian and the most innocent of the group, is taken aback by Brit and Candy's actions; however, she overlooks their crimes and travels to Florida with them. On the trip, the girls attend wild beach parties, engaging in drinking and reckless behavior. After a rambunctious party, they are arrested and bailed out by Alien, a rapper and gangster from St. Petersburg. Faith becomes uncomfortable with Alien's surroundings and lifestyle; she decides to leave, begging the girls to come with her. Despite her pleas, Brit, Candy and Cotty return to Alien's mansion and become part of his crime ring. At a strip club, Alien runs into his rival Big Arch, who warns Alien to stop selling drugs in his territory. Alien ignores him and, in retaliation, Big Arch executes a drive-by shooting on Alien's car. Cotty is shot in the arm during the confrontation and decides to return home. With Cotty gone, Alien, Brit and Candy begin a sexual relationship and decide to take revenge on Big Arch. They go to his waterfront mansion in Alien's boat, but Alien is subsequently killed. Brit and Candy kill Big Arch and his men, leaving their signature pink ski masks in the water by the dock. The girls kiss Alien's dead body, then leave Florida in Big Arch's Lamborghini.

Watch Pitch Perfect (2012) HD 1080p Online For Free

Pitch Perfect is a 2012 American musical comedy film directed by Jason Moore. The screenplay was written by Kay Cannon. The musical comedy features an ensemble cast consisting of Anna Kendrick, Skylar Astin, Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Ester Dean, Alexis Knapp, Hana Mae Lee, Ben Platt, Adam DeVine, with John Michael Higgins, and Elizabeth Banks. The plot follows an all-girl college a cappella group, The Barden Bellas, as they compete against another a cappella group from their college to win Nationals. The film is loosely adapted from Mickey Rapkin's non-fiction novel, also titled Pitch Perfect. Filming concluded in Mid-December 2011, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The film premiered in Los Angeles on September 24, 2012. Released on September 28, 2012 in the United States, Pitch Perfect grossed over $65 million domestically and 45 million dollars internationally,[2] as well as peaking at #3 at the box office. The film became the second highest grossing musical comedy film behind School of Rock. The film was also met with positive reviews from critics, receiving an 81% positive rating on the review website Rotten Tomatoes based on 135 reviews. It was mostly praised by critics for its comedic approach, its flashy musical numbers, and the performance of Wilson. The movie opens at the Lincoln Centre where the Nationals for a capellas are being held. An extremely popular all-male a cappella group, the Treblemakers from Barden University, perform on stage and gain popularity. Afterwards, another group, Barden's other half, the Barden Bellas, also perform. Their set starts off well until Aubrey Posen (Anna Camp) vomits on stage during her solo, thus ruining the Bella's chance of winning and becoming a public humiliation. Four months after the Nationals, Beca Mitchell (Anna Kendrick), newly arrived freshman at Barden University, has no desire to attend college, but she is forced to do so by her father (John Benjamin Hickey), a professor at the university. Wishing she could instead move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music making, Beca takes up an internship at the school radio station, where she meets fellow freshman Jesse Swanson (Skylar Astin), who develops a crush on her. When Beca's father discovers she has not been attending classes, he comes to her with a proposition: if she joins a club and still does not want to remain at college after a year, he will allow and pay for Beca to move to Los Angeles. After some persuasion from group leader Chloe Beale (Brittany Snow), she reluctantly joins the Barden Bellas. Aubrey doesn't initially approve of recruiting Beca, but yields nonetheless due to a desperate need for members and Beca's own talent. Beca joins alongside a group of other women who do not fit the Bellas' typical mold: the misunderstood Cynthia-Rose (Ester Dean), Stacie Conrad (Alexis Knapp), the quiet Lilly Onakuramara (Hana Mae Lee), and the eccentric Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson). Jesse is also revealed to have joined the Treblemakers. Later, the Bellas participate in the southeastern regional competition at Carolina University. In spite of their distasteful and old set list, the group manages to place second, which gives them the bid to semi-finals. A brief scuffle after the competition leads to Beca's arrest by the police. Jesse tries to help by calling Beca's father, which infuriates Beca and turns their budding friendship sour. Beca's father decides to void the deal they had made and tells her that he will not pay for her to go to Los Angeles. The Bellas surprise Beca in her dormitory. Beca suggests that the Bellas try and be a bit more daring, which everyone agrees to except Aubrey, who insists that they will win with their current set lists. At the semi-finals, Beca notices how bored the audience is with Aubrey's traditional and overused arrangement, so she provides an impromptu back-up. The Bellas come in third in the competition behind the Treblemakers and the Footnotes; even though the audience seemed to enjoy Beca's remix, Aubrey becomes furious and yells at Beca, who in turn quits the Bellas. When the Footnotes are later disqualified from the national competition because the lead was in high school , the Bellas are called to take part in their place. The Bellas get back together after returning from spring break, with the notable exception of Beca. During this time, Beca begins working as a DJ at the Barden radio station, playing her music on the overnight shift while also steadily distancing herself from Jesse. However, upon finding a copy of Jesse's favorite movie and watching it on her own, she realizes how much she misses him, and the Bellas, which she is convinced, by her father, to rejoin. During rehearsals, Chloe has managed to stand up against Aubrey's manipulation and her persistence. The group starts to fall apart as everyone wants to perform as the people they are and not to simply follow the old traditions of the Bellas, which sparks a fight. Meanwhile, Beca tries to apologize to Jesse, which he declines. Beca goes to the Bellas and apologizes for her actions during the semi-finals and also asks to have another chance, which Aubrey eventually allows. After having a group heart-to-heart conversation, the Bellas appoint Beca as their group leader and decide to adopt Beca's more modern and original music style. Meanwhile, Bumper leaves the Treblemakers after being offered a job as a back-up singer for John Mayer. With Bumper gone, Jesse becomes the new group leader and persuades the Trebles to let his roommate Benji (Ben Platt) join the group in Bumper's place. At the a cappella national competition at the Lincoln Center, the Bellas sing a piece arranged by Beca. After their performance, Beca and Jesse reunite with a kiss. Six months later, auditions are beginning for the new year while the Treblemakers and Bellas are preparing to select new members for their groups; Jesse and Benji are shown sitting at a desk in the audition hall, followed by Beca and the Barden Bellas, along with their trophy from nationals.

Watch The Purge (2013) HD online for free

The Purge is a 2013 American science-fiction thriller film directed and written by James DeMonaco. Starring Ethan Hawke and Lena Headey, the film is set in the year 2022 when the United States has become "a nation reborn", with crime and unemployment rates hitting an all-time low. This is a result of the government having instituted an annual 12-hour time period called "The Purge", during which people can vent their negative emotions because all crime (including murder) is legal and emergency services are suspended The film begins with a title card explaining how in the year 2022, the United States boasts an unemployment rate of 1% with crime being at an all-time low. The country is now governed by the New Founding Fathers of America, who have sanctioned an annual 12-hour period called The Purge, during which all crime, including murder, becomes legal. The opening credits display a variety of surveillance camera footage depicting acts of violence occurring in numerous towns and cities across the United States during The Purge. James Sandin (Ethan Hawke) is a wealthy salesman who has made a fortune selling home security systems that are specifically designed for The Purge. One of the neighbors, Grace, tells James' wife Mary (Lena Headey) the neighbors have been gossiping that the extension on the Sandins' house was financed by the security systems James sold them. At their heavily-fortified house, Mary struggles with their two children, Zoey (Adelaide Kane) and Charlie (Max Burkholder); Zoey is dating an older boy named Henry (Tony Oller) whom Zoey's father doesn't approve of, and Charlie questions the need for The Purge. When James arrives home, he explains to the family how The Purge acts as a catharsis for the American people, giving them a chance to release their pent-up aggression and other negative emotions how they see fit. After dinner, Charlie fixes a remote controlled robot he uses to view and film events around the house. The family gathers in the lounge, where James initiates the lockdown, shielding all the doors and windows of the house. An official Emergency Broadcast System message appears on television, which explains the rules of The Purge and that all emergency services will be suspended during the 12-hour period. Sirens begin blaring outside, announcing the commencement of the Purge. Zoey asks to be excused to her bedroom, where she finds Henry, who sneaked into the house before the lockdown. Henry explains to Zoey he wants to convince James to bless their relationship and figured he could not be thrown out of the house during The Purge. James and his family watch the events of The Purge unfold via the video monitors in the lounge. After a while, Charlie is left alone in the lounge and notices a bloodied and beaten stranger (Edwin Hodge) outside the house pleading for help. Charlie deactivates the security system and lets him in. James intercepts the stranger and holds him at gunpoint. Henry appears and opens fire on James, attempting to eliminate the obstacle preventing his relationship with Zoey. James fatally shoots Henry, and in the confusion the stranger escapes to hide within the house. Zoey runs off with the fatally-wounded Henry and watches him die. James takes Mary and Charlie back to the safety of the lounge and then goes off in search of his daughter and the stranger. Minutes later, a group of masked "purgers" arrive up the street, trace the stranger to the Sandin's home, and issue an ultimatum to the family through the surveillance system: hand the homeless stranger over, their target, within the hour or they will break into the house and murder everyone inside. Mary asks James if the security system will withstand such an attack, and James admits it was designed to act as a deterrent, but not to withstand any number of types of aggressive assaults. Using his robot, Charlie finds the stranger (who is shown wearing dog tags) and leads him to a secret hiding place, where his parents won't find him. Zoey, seeking to also hide there, inadvertently stumbles the stranger, who holds her at gunpoint (to protect himself until The Purge ends). James pounds a vase on the stranger's head, and the stranger accidentally hits Zoey upon the table. James and Mary tie up the stranger and, to subdue him, aggravate his wounds, in preparation to deliver him to the attackers, but they have a change of heart after realizing they are becoming essentially no different than the "purgers" outside. The hunters successfully break into the household and the Sandins are forced to defend themselves, culminating in their killing many of the intruders. The group's leader (Rhys Wakefield) fatally stabs James with a Bowie knife, but Zoey shoots and kills him. Suddenly, the Sandins' neighbors arrive and finish off the last of the intruders. Mary thanks them, but the neighbors reveal they are there to kill the Sandins; since the opportunity presented itself, they decided it was their patriotic duty to kill the Sandins in order to vent their hatred for the family's new-found wealth. Just as the neighbors are about to kill the family, the bloodied stranger comes to the Sandins' aid, killing one of them. The stranger gives Mary the choice to let the other four live or die, and she decides to spare them, as too many people have died during the night. Grace makes one final attempt to kill Mary, but Mary deflects the attack and smashes Grace's face with the butt of her gun. The surviving neighbors and the homeless stranger leave the house and walk away as sirens outside start blaring again, signaling the end of the 12-hour Purge period. The Sandin family watches the emergency services arrive outside of their home. The credits include audio from television broadcasts, stating that this Purge was the most successful one ever due to the record high number of murders, and the Purge will recur as normal next year.

Watch The Internship (2013) HD online for free

The Internship is a 2013 American comedy film directed by Shawn Levy, written by Vince Vaughn and Jared Stern, and produced by Vaughn and Levy. The film stars Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson in their second film together after starring in the 2005 film Wedding Crashers. This is the second collaboration of Levy, Vaughn, and Stern after the 2012 film The Watch. This is also the first film to use the 21st Century Fox byline. Billy McMahon (Vaughn) and Nick Campbell (Wilson) seek employment after being laid off from their positions as watch salesmen when their employer goes out of business. Billy then applies for an internship at Google for the two of them, and they are accepted due to their unorthodox interview answers, despite a lack of relevant experience; they are the only interns not of traditional collegiate age. They will spend the summer competing in teams against other interns in a variety of tasks, and only the members of the winning team will be guaranteed jobs with Google. Billy and Nick are teamed with other interns seen as rejects: Stuart, who is usually engrossed in his phone; Yo-Yo, an Asian-American boy who was homeschooled by a stereotypical Tiger Mother; and Neha, an Indian-American girl who is an enthusiast of nerd-related kink. The team, known as "Nooglers" are led by Lyle, who constantly tries to act hip in order to hide his insecurities. Another intern, Graham, aggressively bullies Billy and Nick's team. Mr. Chetty, the head of the internship program, also expresses his doubts about the older men's abilities. Stuart, Yo-Yo, and Neha see Billy and Nick as useless during a task focused on debugging, and send them on a wild goose chase. But later, during a game of Muggle Quidditch against Graham's team, Billy rallies his team to a comeback that restores their confidence despite ultimately losing. When the teams are tasked with developing an app, Billy and Nick convince the team to indulge in a wild night out. At a strip club, Neha admits to Billy that, despite her rich fantasy life, she has no real-world experience and is nervous; with his support, she decides to stay. Nick gets Yo-Yo to break out of his shell by drinking and receiving lap dances. And, encouraged by Billy, Lyle approaches one of the dancers, Marielena, who is also a dance instructor at Google on whom he had developed a crush. She is charmed by him, but another customer challenges Lyle for her attention and a fight breaks out; the team is ejected from the club. Before sunrise that same night, overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, Stuart learns to appreciate his surroundings, and Lyle's drunken antics inspire the team to create an app that guards against reckless phone usage while drunk; they win the task by earning the most downloads. Meanwhile, Nick has been flirting with an executive, Dana, with little success. When he begins attending technical presentations to impress her, he takes a real interest in the material. While the teams prepare to staff the technical support hotline, only Billy feels at a loss. A Google employee, "Headphones", who always wears headphones and had not been seen to talk to anyone, approaches Billy and tells him that the way he interacts with people is special. He tutors Billy on the technical information. Dana agrees to go on a date with Nick, and she invites him in at the end of the evening. During the task, Billy is comfortable with the material, but his team receives no score because he failed to properly log his calls for review. Dejected, Billy leaves Google to pursue a new sales opportunity with his former boss. The final task is announced as a sales challenge; teams must sign the largest possible company to begin advertising with Google. The team are stunned when Nick tells them that Billy has left, and they declare that they do not want to do the task without him. Nick convinces Billy to return, and Billy leads the team to show a local pizzeria owner how Google can help connect him with potential customers and how Internet resources can help him expand the business while remaining true to his professional values. The team arrive during the final assembly just as the winners are to be announced; but the official rules allow them to present their results even at the last moment. Chetty recognizes that although the pizzeria is not a large business, its potential is now limitless because it has embraced technology. Graham protests and is dressed down by Headphones, who turns out to be the head of Google Search. Nick, Billy, Stuart, Yo-Yo, and Neha are declared the winners and will receive jobs at Google, which the latter three will start after their senior years in college. As the students depart, Nick and Dana are still seeing each other, as are Lyle and Marielena. Stuart and Neha have formed a romantic connection, as well, and Yo-Yo asserts himself to his mother.

Beautiful Creatures is a 2013 American romantic fantasy film based upon the novel of the same name by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. The film was directed by Richard LaGravenese and stars Alden Ehrenreich and Alice Englert. In Gatlin, South Carolina, Ethan Wate awakens from a recurring dream of a girl he does not know. In voice-over narration, he describes his enjoyment of reading banned books, his despair of his small-town existence, and his dreams of leaving for college. Arriving for his first day of junior year, Ethan notices newcomer Lena Duchannes, who resembles the girl he has been dreaming about. The other students do not take kindly to her and spread gossip regarding Lena's reclusive uncle, Macon Ravenwood, and suggest that her family includes devil worshippers. Overhearing these whispers, Lena tenses and the classroom windows shatter, amplifying the fears and suspicions of the class and the townspeople at large that. On a drive home, Ethan nearly runs over Lena, whose car has broken down. He gives her a ride home and the two bond over their shared love of poetry and having both lost their mothers. Ethan drops Lena off but later finds a locket and returns to the mansion to give it to her as a present. The touch of a locket triggers a shared flashback to the American Civil War, after which Ethan awakens at his home. Macon disapproves of their love and fondness of each other, and conspires with Ethan's family friend, Amma, to keep the two separated. However, Ethan continues to pursue Lena until she confesses that she and her family are "casters," who are capable of performing a variety of magical spells such as changing the weather and casting illusions. On her 16th birthday, Lena's true nature will steer her towards either the light or the dark; Lena fears the latter, as it entails being consumed by evil and hurting those she loves. Ethan insists she is responsible for her own choices and reassures her that she is a good person. Matters are complicated by the arrival of two immensely powerful dark casters who aim to push Lena to the dark: Ridley, Lena's provocative cousin/childhood friend, and Sarafine, Lena's mother, who has possessed Mrs. Lincoln, the mother of Ethan's friend Link. Sarafine foresees that Lena will become an even more powerful caster and intends for Lena to use her newfound power to purge the Earth of humans, leaving casters to rule in their wake. Lena and Ethan use the locket to re-experience the whole flashback, which reveals their ancestors, caster Genevieve Duchannes and mortal Confederate soldier Ethan Carter Wate were in love. Ethan Carter was shot in battle and Genevieve revived him using a forbidden spell that caused her to go dark and curse all the Duchannes family's women. They consult with Amma, who is in a seer/keeper of a caster library beneath the town library. The most ancient of these books, the Book of Moons, reveals the secret to undoing the curse: one of Lena's loved ones has to die. Unwilling to take Ethan's life, Lena instead erases his memories of their time together. Ridley seduces Link and gives him a bullet to use in an upcoming [[Historical reenactment|Civil War reenactment of the Battle of Honey Hill which will take place on Lena's birthday. During the reenactment, Link and Ethan agree to "kill" each other so they can ditch the reenactment. While at the ceremony for her 16th birthday, Lena feels the shock of the curse being broken and runs off to Ethan, clutching his dying body as Ridley and Sarafine encourage her to surrender to grief and accept the dark. Lena lashes out in anger, sending lightning strikes through the crowd of reenactors until Ethan transforms into Macon, who had previously disguised himself as Ethan to become the needed sacrifice. His dying words encourage Lena to "claim yourself"; she then causes the moon to disappear so it cannot claim her for the dark. Lena allows Ridley to flee and pulls Sarafine from Mrs. Lincoln's body, using her power to seal Sarafine's spirit away. Months later, a still-amnesiac Ethan stops by the library to visit Amma before leaving for a college campus tour with Link. He apologizes to Lena for not having got to know her during their time in Gatlin. Lena is then seen in the caster library, where it is revealed that she has claimed herself as a half dark/light caster. Meanwhile, just after Link drives past the town line, Ethan recalls their memories together. He gets out of the car to call Lena's name. Lena hears and the movie ends.

Safe Haven is a 2013 American romance film starring Julianne Hough, Josh Duhamel and Cobie Smulders. It was released theatrically in North America on February 14, 2013. The film was directed by Lasse Hallström, and is an adaptation of Nicholas Sparks's novel of the same name. The film was originally set for a February 8 release, but was moved to February 14, 2013.[5] The film was widely panned by critics, but was nonetheless financially successful with a worldwide gross of $95.3 million against its $28 million budget. A young woman (Julianne Hough) flees her house after being shown in possession of a bloody knife. She is shown moments later buying a bus ticket, her hair now cropped and bleached, and stops at a small North Carolina town called Southport. At the general store, she introduces herself as Katie. After acquiring a job as a waitress and buying a small house on the edge of town, Katie becomes friends with her neighbor, Jo (Cobie Smulders) and meets handsome Alex Wheatley, (Josh Duhamel), the manager of a local convenience store, and his two children, Lexie and Josh. Alex's wife tragically died of cancer a few years prior. Alex immediately takes a liking to Katie, doing small helpful things, such as leaving an old bike at her house. They go on a 'family' trip to the beach, and Alex asks her to go canoeing with him, after which, they fall in love. Lexie immediately accepts Katie, while Josh is initially resistant, believing Katie to be his late mother's replacement, but eventually accepts her as well. Meanwhile, Kevin, a husky Boston police officer, searches for Katie and, using his authority as a police officer, sends out reports saying that she is a wanted murderer. Upon seeing her picture in the police station, Alex confronts Katie and becomes angry that she didn't trust him enough to even tell him her real name, Erin. The picture flashes to Kevin's boss confronting him at work, pointing out he always carries a water bottle that turns out to be filled with vodka, and reveals that Erin was Kevin's wife. Directly afterward, Katie is shown packing while talking angrily with Jo. Alex drives over to Katie's house to talk to her, only to discover that she left. He drives to the nearest ferry and admits he's fallen in love with her and promises to protect her no matter what. Initially, Katie wants to flee but then she decides to stay in Southport and she and Alex help prepare the town for the upcoming Fourth of July celebration. Later, Katie tells Alex that Kevin is her husband, whom she stabbed with a kitchen knife in order to protect herself from his drunken assault. Meanwhile, Kevin breaks into Katie's grandmother's home and finds the phone number to the Southport restaurant that employs Katie. He finds the location and makes his way there, very noticeably drunk. Arriving just on time for the Fourth of July parade, Kevin begins his search for Katie through the crowd, belligerent. He finally finds Katie dancing with Josh and watches as Alex leans over to kiss her, which makes him angry. Later, Katie has a dream that she is standing on the docks watching the fireworks when Jo comes up and tells Katie that "he" is here. Katie wakes up in the convenience store next to a fast asleep Lexie. While she is walking around in the store, Kevin makes his appearance and confronts her, drunk and sobbing and asking her to talk. He asks her to go back home with him, but she refuses and tells him to leave. He pulls out a revolver while Katie asks Lexie to stay up in the second floor of the store, scared that she might see Kevin and become frightened. Meanwhile, Kevin is pouring gasoline all over the store, with the intent to burn it down. He sits down on the steps with a lighter, deep in thought, and Katie fakes sympathy for him and agrees to return home with him, only to push him into the water by surprise. However, a firework spark lands on the gasoline, igniting a fire that spreads all over the store. Alex, busy shooting off fireworks, sees the burning store and quickly makes his way across the lake by boat. He manages to make his way up to the second floor and rescue Lexie from the burning building. Meanwhile, Katie is wrestling with a soaked Kevin who is attempting to shoot her. After a long struggle, she grabs a hold of the gun and kills him. Soon after, Alex finds Katie and they embrace. In the aftermath , Alex riffles through a desk belonging to his late wife, where he finds multiple letters she prepared ahead of time for memorable events such as Josh's eighteenth birthday and Lexie's wedding day. Alex gives Katie a letter with the words "For Her" on the envelope. The letter talks about how if someone is receiving this letter, then Alex loves her without a shadow of a doubt. She says she is thankful for whomever is now reading the letter and thanks the reader for making Alex feel young and in love again. The movie ends by revealing that Jo was actually Alex's dead wife who "left" town moments before.

The film was shot over a period of several years, as casting also proved to be a challenge for the producers. Some actors, including George Clooney, immediately declined to take part, while others, such as Richard Gere, attempted to get out of the project. Released on January 25, 2013, Movie 43 has been universally panned by critics, with the Chicago Sun-Times calling it "the Citizen Kane of awful" and many others referring to it as one of the worst films ever made. Produced and directed by Peter Farrelly, written by Steve Baker, Rocky Russo, and Jeremy Sosenko, and co-edited by Sam Seig The film is composed of multiple comedy shorts presented through an overarching segment titled "The Pitch", in which Charlie Wessler (Dennis Quaid), a mad screenwriter, is attempting to pitch a script to film executive Griffin Schraeder (Greg Kinnear). After revealing several of the stories in his script, Wessler becomes agitated when Schraeder dismisses his outrageous ideas, and he pulls a gun on him and forces him to listen to multiple other stories before making Schraeder consult his manager, Bob Mone (Common), to purchase the film. When they do so, Mone's condescending attitude toward Schraeder angers him to the point that, after agreeing to make the film "the biggest film since Howard the Duck", he confronts Mone in the parking lot and tries to humiliate him. Wessler tries to calm Schraeder with more story ideas to no avail, and the segment ends with it being revealed that it's being shot by a camera crew as part of the movie, leading into the final segments.

Warm Bodies is a 2013 American paranormal romantic zombie comedy film based on Isaac Marion's novel of the same name. Directed and written by Jonathan Levine, the film stars Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer and Analeigh Tipton. The film focuses on the development of the relationship between Julie, a young woman, and "R", a zombie, and how their eventual romance develops throughout. The film is noted for displaying human characteristics in zombie characters, and for being told from a zombie's perspective After a zombie apocalypse, R, a zombie, spends his days wandering around an airport which is now filled with hordes of his fellow undead, including his best friend M. R and M achieve rudimentary communication with grunts and moans and "Eh's" and occasional near-words. As a zombie, R constantly craves human flesh, especially brains, as he is able to "feel alive" through the memories of their former owners. The zombies travel in packs, moving very slowly, searching for victims to feed on. While out looking for food, R and a pack of zombies find Julie Grigio and a group of her friends, who were sent out by Julie's father from a heavily-fortified, walled-off human enclave in a nearby city to recover medical supplies from abandoned buildings. R sees Julie and is drawn to her. After being shot in the chest by Julie's boyfriend, Perry, R kills Perry while Julie is distracted and eats his brain, giving R his thoughts and memories, making his attraction to Julie become even stronger. He rescues Julie from the rest of the pack and takes her back to an airplane he lives in at the airport to keep her safe. The two bond, causing R to slowly begin to come to life.[9] After a few days, Julie gets restless, and tries multiple times to return home, yet attracts swarms of zombies every time, requiring R to rescue her. After fighting off a group of corpses, including M, R decides it is time to start driving back to the humans. On the way, R reveals to her that he killed Perry, causing her to abandon R and return alone to the human enclave. R begins to make his way back to the airport, heartbroken, but when he sees that M and other zombies are also beginning to show signs of life, but the Bonies are looking for R. So, he and M lead a group to the human enclave, where R sneaks inside the wall. There he meets Julie's friend Nora, who is initially shocked. When R reveals the other corpses have also been coming back to life, the three of them attempt to tell Colonel Grigio, Julie's father and leader of the survivors. Colonel Grigio, however, refuses to believe corpses can change and threatens to kill R, almost succeeding until Nora pulls a gun on him. Julie and R escape to a baseball stadium where the rest of R's group is waiting, but find themselves under attack by a horde of skeletal zombies (also known as Bonies) who have irretrievably lost all traces of humanity, and are set on killing and eating anything with a heartbeat, which now includes R and his friends. Julie and R run from the Bonies, finding themselves trapped. Taking the only escape route, R jumps with Julie into a pool far below, shielding her from the impact. After Julie pulls R from the bottom of the pool, they kiss passionately - and this triggers R to become fully revived. On finding them, Colonel Grigio shoots R in the shoulder and causes him to bleed, which proves he is fully revived. The humans and zombies combine forces and kill the Bonies while the rest die off, and the zombies slowly assimilate into human society. Soon after, the human population destroys the walls surrounding the human society, creating a life for both humans and reanimated corpses much like the days before the apocalypse. The film ends with a now fully alive R and Julie watching a wall surrounding the city being blown down, signifying the end of the apocalypse.

Side Effects is a 2013 American psychological thriller film directed by Steven Soderbergh from a screenplay written by Scott Z. Burns. The film stars Jude Law, Rooney Mara, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Channing Tatum. The film concerns the ramifications of an event following a young woman being prescribed antidepressant drugs. Side Effects was released in the United States on February 8, 2013 Emily Taylor's husband Martin is released after serving a four-year prison sentence for insider trading. Shortly afterward, Emily drives her car into a concrete wall in an apparent suicide attempt. Jonathan Banks, her assigned psychiatrist, fears for her safety but agrees to her release from the hospital as long as she attends sessions with him on a regular basis. Emily tries a series of SSRI anti-depressant medications, but none of them work. Jonathan contacts Emily's previous psychiatrist, Victoria, who suggests that Jonathan put Emily on a new drug called Ablixa. Jonathan is reluctant to put Emily on the experimental drug until she attempts suicide a second time by trying to jump onto a subway track. The medication works, enabling Emily to function normally besides occasional sleepwalking episodes, a side effect of the drug. One evening, she stabs Martin to death while seemingly sleepwalking. Emily is brought to trial, and Jonathan fights for her acquittal. He is criticized publicly for fumbling Emily's case, and his colleagues assume he has been negligent due to his heavy work-load. Emily eventually agrees to plead insanity; she is declared not guilty on the condition that she stay in a mental institution until cleared by a psychiatrist. Due to the case's bad publicity, Jonathan's career is left in ruins. However, he sets out to clear his name and uncovers evidence that not only did Emily fake her suicide attempts, but was involved in a criminal conspiracy with Victoria. Jonathan interviews Emily after administering what he claims is a truth serum. Emily behaves as if she's groggy from the drug, which unbeknownst to her is actually a placebo. This confirms Jonathan's suspicions. When Jonathan confronts Victoria with his findings, she mails photographs to Jonathan's wife implying he had an affair with Emily; Jonathan's wife and stepson leave him. Jonathan manages to turn Emily and Victoria against each other by using legal means to prevent contact between them and making each believe that her partner had sold her out to Jonathan for a better deal. Emily reveals the workings of the plot to Jonathan: she enjoyed the rich life and hated Martin for causing her to lose it. She specifically went to Victoria for counseling as she, too, had been abandoned by her husband, and the two became lesbian lovers. They taught each other about the workings of the financial world and faking psychiatric disorders. They then went to elaborate means to fake the side effects of Ablixa in order to manipulate the stock prices of the drug's manufacturer and its competitor, allowing the duo to become rich in the process. Jonathan agrees to release Emily from the psychiatric ward under his care. Wearing a wire, she immediately re-unites with Victoria, who admits details of the plot to Emily while touching her sexually. Victoria is arrested for conspiracy to commit murder, but Emily, due to double jeopardy, can no longer be held criminally responsible for her part in Martin's murder. As retaliation for Emily's part in the plot, Jonathan, who still technically oversees her case, prescribes her a series of unnecessary drugs with serious side effects, threatening to send her back to the ward if she refuses. Furious, Emily rants about all that she has done to avoid being sent to prison for Martin's death. Unbeknownst to her, Martin's mother, her lawyer, and a police officer are all outside the room and hear the confession. The police take Emily into custody and send her back to the mental ward. In the final scene, Jonathan has regained his normal life with his wife and stepson. Emily sits in the ward, staring blankly out the window. A psychiatric nurse asks Emily how she's feeling, and she responds by saying apathetically: "Better. Much Better."

Casey and Miller, themselves already 21 or over, want to take Jeff out for his 21st birthday. However, it is on the night before an important medical school interview, so he declines. After Miller threatens to make a lot of noise the whole night if he persists in his refusal he accepts to come along for just one drink. In a bar Jeff accidentally hits a boy named Randy with a dart. Randy gets aggressive and they have to flee, even though Casey was having a nice chat with a girl named Nicole. Jeff gets excited that he is allowed to enter bars now, drinks too much and gets unresponsive. Casey and Miller want to take him home, but do not remember where he lives. Since Nicole knows Jeff, they try to find her, because she may know where he lives. They sneak into a sorority house, where they think Nicole lives, but it is the wrong house, where only female Latina students live. They encounter two blindfolded women ready to be paddled as part of their sorority initiation ritual, but these and the other women of the house are furious when they find out about the intrusion. They have to flee the house, and Casey and Miller throw Jeff from a balcony onto the pool cover that bounces him into a rose garden, and worry that they killed him, but he is not injured, except for thorns in his buttocks. They find Nicole, but she does not know the address, and refer them to Randy, who turns out to be her boyfriend. After Randy refuses to look up the address in his telephone, Miller threatens him with the gun they found in Jeff's pocket, to steal the telephone. He shoots into the air, causing a buffalo to panic and attack people, including Randy. At the address they find, it turns out that he does not live there anymore. There is a party going on in the house, and they have to join games in order to get access to the boy who may know the address. Finally they have access to him, but he does not know the new address. They leave Jeff in the care of two stoned students, who for fun undress him and glue a teddy bear to his penis. After leaving the party he goes out on the street still like this. Casey and Miller want to get him dressed, but he runs away and is arrested. Casey and Miller go to the police station, where they are told he has been transferred to a mental hospital. A woman pretends to escort them to that place, but it is a trap by the Latino women. They take revenge, and Casey and Miller, with buttocks branded and bruised by spanking , have to walk on the campus dressed in nothing but socks on their penises to get new clothes. In the mental health facility, Casey and Miller want to take Jeff home, but the hospital refuses. Then they smuggle him out, for which they have to throw him from the third floor, making them worry that they "killed him again", but again he is not injured. Jeff, now awake, steals the car on which he was dropped which turns out to be Randy's, and they flee, with Jeff driving recklessly. Finally Casey and Miller help Jeff to get ready for the interview. They pull the teddy bear off, circumcising Jeff in the process, and dress him well. Randy has arrived at Jeff's home to destroy the room, but his father hits him. Encouraged by Casey and Miller, Jeff confesses to his father, who pressured him to go to medical school, that he does not want this. The father does not accept this, until Miller hits him. Randy admires Jeff for standing up against his father and reconciles with him. Miller, who is intelligent but has had poor marks due to not working hard, improves, and wants to go to university. The night before an interview he is at a music festival with Casey, Nicole, who is Casey's girlfriend now, and Jeff. He has a wild night and arrives at his professor with a broken leg and red hair. It turns out to be the odd man he has seen dancing alone in the street all the time in that earlier night.

Identity Thief is a 2013 American crime comedy film directed by Seth Gordon, written by Craig Mazin, and starring Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy.[3] The film tells a story about a man (Bateman) whose identity is stolen by a woman (McCarthy). Sandy Patterson gets a call from a woman saying someone attempted to steal his identity. She tells him about an identity protection service and asks him for his name, date of birth, and social security number. Little does he know that his identity is actually about to be stolen. We meet Diana, printing out credit cards with Sandy's money and going out to a bar, buying drinks for everybody. At work, Sandy gets called in by his boss, Harold Cornish, and he asks him to make cuts on bonuses, despite the fact that he is getting a bonus himself. As Sandy goes to do so, he gets a call saying he has an appointment at a salon on Friday in Florida. He's confused, but he gets called over by his co-worker Daniel Casey. In the parking lot, he and a few other co-workers meet to discuss starting their own firm since their boss is not the greatest person. Daniel asks Sandy if he'll join them, to which he agrees. A little while later, Sandy tries to get gas, but his card is declined for insufficient funds and the gas station clerk cuts it up. He calls the credit card company and he's told he's spent a lot of money in Florida. As this happens, he gets arrested. At the same time in Florida, Diana continues splurging with Sandy's money. At a police station, Detective Reilly tells Sandy that he missed a court date in Florida for assault. They pull up a mug shot of Diana and determine she's stolen Sandy's identity. It gets worse at work when Daniel (now his boss) says cops are asking about him possessing drugs. Reilly and other cops show up and say a card with Sandy's name was used to buy drugs from a man named Paolo. When told they can't do anything unless the identity thief was standing there in Denver with them, Sandy (knowing where he can find her) offers to go on his own and bring her there and get her to talk to Daniel to clear his name and that he won't press charges.
